Fundrasing For The Winter Sunday School Material Has Ended!
The fundrasing for the winter sunday school material has now ended. Thank you to everyone who helped!
Enough money has been raised and the material has now been purchased.

Pastor Luke is very thankful for our help. Below you can read some of his words of thanks and how the material has brought forth good fruit by leading children and their parents to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
“We have used the materials wisely to carry out its purpose, again we seek your valued support to sustain our need. I want to close with this verse in Galatians 6:9. “And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not.”

Thank You Everyone!
Enough money has been raised for the purchase of the Spring Sunday School Material for the Children in Nauru. Thank You to those who helped financially, and those who helped by keeping the Church in Nauru in their prayers!
Please continue to keep the church in your prayers that more may begin, and others continue to grow in the knowledge of and in their spiritual walk with, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Raising Support for the Church in Nauru

The Purpose of this webpage is to raise support for the Church in Nauru both by prayer and by fundraising. By prayer, that the Church there may grow that many may come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and experience the spiritual blessings which are only available through him. That the church leaders there may have wisdom and be filled and lead by the Holy Spirit that all they do may be Blessed so that Glory may be brought to God’s most Holy Name. By fundraising for Bibles, Children’s Sunday School material, and anything else that the Church there may be able to use to aid them in better knowing our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Originally the focus was on Bibles, but now that they have them the focus is on Sunday School material for the children.
I got involved in this over a year ago when I found out that Allen Beam whom I work with was collecting Bibles to send to Nauru. I was very moved to help because I know how precious the Holy Bible is to me and with all the wealth we have here I thought that surely those who want a Holy Bible should not be denied one. Especially since the people of Nauru speak English it is very easy to send them Bibles they can use. No one seemed to know how many Bibles were needed and I wanted to find out and be sure that Pastor Luke received as many as could be used. In order to do this I contacted Pastor Luke through email and with the help of many sent over 100 Bibles to Nauru in addition to the many that were sent by Allen. Pastor Luke was very thankful for the Bibles as they could be put to good use teaching man what God would have them to know. Then Pastor Luke contacted me about Sunday School material for the children. Since December of 2009, with the help of many I’ve sent Sunday School material for the Children in Nauru and the number of children we’ve been providing Sunday school material for has grown from 30 students to 210 students. Obviously, with the increase in numbers came the increasing need to contact others for additional financial support.
It is amazing how the Lord has worked in all this. Allen Beam found out from Jay Hess who met Pastor Luke Waqa in Majuro, Republic of Marshall Islands. Pastor Luke leads two churches in the country of Nauru; Boe Lighthouse and Anibare Cornerstone. Boe and Anibare are the names of two districts in the country of Nauru. The Anibare Cornerstone Church consists of five districts of North-Eastern Nauru: Meneng, Anibare, Ijuw, Anibar and Anetan. Pastor Luke Waqa has described part of their mission in Nauru as to establish a Church building for a center of worship and to evangelize to the lost and equip them in the Word and to enable believers to fellowship together.

I know many people do not have extra money right now, but nevertheless I do believe that this Sunday school material is really having an impact for Christ’s sake, so please consider what you can do to help. Pastor Luke finds that this material is effective at teaching the children, and laying a good foundation, that is a sure foundation.
